Washington, DC during the cherry blossom bloom is just one of those things you need to see once in your life. It’s monolithic marble offices and monuments paired with the soft pink and white of the cherry blossoms turns the city into the perfect backdrop for a portrait session.

A few months prior to their wedding celebration at The William Aiken House, I joined Regi and Brendan at dawn on a chilly April morning and explored the Lincoln Memorial before heading to Georgetown for coffee and a peek into one of the gorgeous gardens that are dotted around the city.

“Nick is incredible, if you don’t choose him I can promise you will regret it! I am a photo snob, therefore selecting our engagement and wedding photographer was the most important decision of our engagement. Nick came up to Washington, DC for our Cherry Blossom engagement session, and our wedding was at the William Aiken house in Charleston. My husband and I had SO much fun with Nick and absolutely loved him. We felt super comfortable and it felt as if he was a lifelong friend. Nick has a ton of energy and his creativity was boundless. The photos turned out PERFECT which is shocking for me to say since I typically dislike half of the photos of myself. Not only have our friends and family raved over our engagement/wedding photos, but we’ve had complete strangers reach out tell us they’re the most gorgeous engagement/wedding photos they’ve ever seen and asked us to put them in touch with Nick.”
